Instructional Division is for players 5 & 6 years old. This program is the most fundamental skills program available, teaching the basics of the game: throwing, catching, base running, fielding and hitting a stationary ball off a tee. Players progress to hitting 'live pitches' from their coach by season end and have a tremendous amount of fun. A soft, safety type softball is used. 'Official' games are played where sufficient sign ups allow for 2 teams. Practices and games are held at Sokol Rd. field. This program is generally a two day per week program, days determined by the Coaches. Parental involvement is critical to the success of this league.
