General Tips

Always back up!
No matter where a ball is hit, you should be moving somewhere towards the ball. Even if the ball is not hit towards you, you should be moving into a position where there can be an error or overthrow.

Run Out Everything!
By not running full speed to first base, on many occasions the hit becomes an easy out for the other team. If the fielder bobbles the ball and you run full speed, on many occasions it becomes a hit.

To all Coaches & Players, there are some changes being made for 2011, please read:

Senior League The 43 feet rule will be in effect next year. Continuous batting and 7 run rule are in effect as in previous years.

Majors – Players can steal once the pitcher releases the ball.  Dropped 3^rd strike is in effect. Continuous batting and 7 run rule are in effect as in previous years.

Reminder – there is no ‘on deck’ circle in major league or minor league

Any pitchers warming up must do so with a player wearing a catchers mask.

Parents/coaches are not allowed to warm up players in between innings.  Must be a another player wearing a mask.
